0

I saw a beautiful tulip flowers posted on my friend's FB timeline. It was posted with a message,

"My intention is to fill up Facebook with flowers to break the saturation of negative images and videos. If you like this post, I will choose a flower for you."

Since i like her post so i was among her circles to spread this flowers images on my timeline and others (our FB friends). So i choose Pink Rose because i am a fan of rose flower despite of my name is Rose.

I didn't really put so much attention to the meaning of every Rose's flowers before until i search for the meaning of Pink Rose for replying my friend FB post. I found it in Reader's Digest  and it quite interesting what each of the colour means. Here i shared what each rose colours means.

Red: Love and Romance
One of the most universal of all symbols, the red rose represents true love. It has also appeared throughout history and across cultures as both a political and religious symbol.

Yellow: Friendship, Joy, Get Well
Throughout history, yellow has been closely associated with the sun, making these roses excellent for cheering people up. Yellow roses send a message of appreciation and platonic love without the romantic subtext of other colors. The color represents feelings of joy and delight.

Lavender: Enchantment, Majesty, Love at First Sight
The color purple has a traditional association with royalty. In this regard, shades of lavender roses suggest an air of regal majesty and splendor.

Pink: Love, Gratitude, Appreciation
Pink carries with it the connotation of grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance. Dark pink roses are symbolic of gratitude and appreciation, and are a traditional way to say thanks. Light pink roses are associated with gentleness and admiration, and can also be used as an expression of sympathy.

White: Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality
Early tradition used white roses as a symbol for true love, an association which would later become the hallmark of the red rose. Also known as the bridal rose, the white rose is a traditional wedding flower. In this sense, white represents unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new love. White roses are also associated with honor and reverence, which makes them a fitting memorial for a departed loved one.

So now, i think i know which rose to be brought for certain occasions. Its funny when i don't know about this i just simply choose my favourite one which is pink. :)

Online Shopping!

1

Working far from city is actually great because i can save up my monthly salary. But, with the advanced IT and there is a chance to buy things online, i might have problem to save up too. *cry*. Therefore, discipline is needed and strong heart, not easily fell for things that i can get online. I start to do online shopping especially on cloths when i don't have time to spend at shopping complex in Kota Kinabalu. Not only that, i found out that the price of one mini dress online and in boutique is really huge difference. I can get one nice mini dress online with RM35 but it will cost me about RM70 in KK. Now, the price is double. Therefore, i decide to go for online shopping.

I start to shop for cloths on Sally Fashion. This is what Facebook has done to me. Sally Fashion have its Facebook Page and i saw most of my friends LIKE this page. On one fine day, i decided to look at this site because i saw some Korean style dress that attract me. This is the beginning of my online shopping.

Early this week, i found out about ZALORA. I received a gift voucher from them so i decide to get a nice dress for my company upcoming annual dinner. This is my pick!

#4 ~ Zumba?

I was slow in doing my exercise these past few months. Been a while i didn't play badminton or jogging after work. Its only my working environment that keeps me sweat out and stay healthy. With the work that i did, i walk a few kilometers in the jungle, up and down the hills. But, i have a bit of problems, i lost some of stamina. I panting and lost breath catching up with my fellow workers when we hikes in the jungle. Therefore, i decide to start exercise again.

Girls in my office very determined to loose weight since one of them getting married this coming December. So, i decide to join their group and start to do some girls favourite workout, ZUMBA or Aerobics. I know, both have their differences but i just put both into one and create our own steps.

For the past weeks, it feels very awkward to do this in the open area. We don't have gym or close room to conduct our activities, so we just use the open space on the hill. Being the one that have the experienced with Aerobic class way back in 2006/2007, i kindda lead our group. However, i always very weak in memorizing all the steps.

Whatever it is, i think we catch up some steps from Shani McGraham and Sidnie Tatom for us to kick off our Zumba routine.

Whatever it is, if we wanna be good in this we need to discipline ourselves and start to do it in regular basis. Wish us luck!
