Anything familiar to you? There were more but i am still in progress of understanding the theories written in this book, as well as the practical part. Soon i will be able to relate it with my work and for sure to improve the approach that i am doing now. I think i am too much into myself (emotional la ba tu) rather than doing this work for the sake of the people.
Transformation is only VALID if it is carried out WITH THE PEOPLE not for them....... Liberation is like a childbirth, and a painful one. The person who emerges is a new person, no longer oppressor or oppressed, but a person in the process of achieving freedom.... It is only the oppressed who, by freeing themselves, can FREE their oppressors... by Paulo Freire (Pedagogy of the Oppressed, pp. 43, 25, 32).So, i leave you with that well said by Paulo Freire. Till then!
With Love,
Little Rose
