Bookmark - Part 2

This is the part 2 of my bookmarks production. There were 5 verses that i gathered in the Bookmark - Part 1. One of my buddy (my junior at high school), Olivia shared five of her favorite verses with me. Here it is:

• Rejoice, young man, in your youth and direct well your heart when you are young; follow your desires and achieve your ambitions but recall that God will take account of all you do. -- Ecc 11: 9.
• Drive sorrow from your heart and pain from your flesh, for youth and dark hair will not last. -- Ecc 11: 10.
• Good and evil, life and death, poverty and richness, all come from the Lord. -- Sirach 11:14.
• Do not give yourself over to sadness or torment yourself with brooding. Joy of heart is life to a man; gladness gives him length of days. Delight your soul and console your heart; chase sorrow far away for sorrow has destroyed many and never did good to anyone. -- Sirach 30: 21-23.
• Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give thanks to God at every moment. This is the will of God, your vocation as Christians. -- 1 Thess 5: 16-18.

I love all the verses that she shared with me. Will use all of them sis. Thanks a lot. As you said Sharing is Loving. Agreed with it 110%.. (^___^).

Well, now i search for more and find more of verses that means a lot to us. Sr. M told me, it will be better if i mix up some of my bookmark with Malay verses. So, i use both language then. Here is some of the collections that i have so far.

• Marilah kepada-Ku, semua yang letih lesu dan berbeban berat, Aku akan memberi kelegaan kepadamu. -- Mat 11: 28.
• Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. -- Matt 11: 28.
• Berserulah kepada-Ku, maka aku akan menjawab engkau dan akan memberitahukan kepadamu hal-hal yang besar dan yang tidak terfahami, yakni hal-hal yang tidak kau ketahui. -- Yer 33: 3.
• Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. -- Jer 33: 3.
• Mintalah, maka akan diberikan kepadamu; carilah, maka kamu akan mendapat; ketuklah, maka pintu akan dibukakan bagimu. -- Mat 7:7.
• Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. -- Matt 7: 7.
• Damai sejahtera Kutinggalkan bagimu. Damai sejahtera-Ku Kuberikan kepadamu, dan apa yang Kuberikan tidak seperti yang diberikan oleh dunia kepadamu. Janganlah gelisah dan gentar hatimu. -- Yoh 14: 27.
• Peace be with you; I give you my peace. Not as the world gives peace do I give it to you. Do not be troubled; do not be afraid. -- John 14: 27.
• Aku memberikan perintah baru kepada kamu, iaitu supaya kamu saling mengasihi; sama seperti Aku telah mengasihi kamu demikian pula kamu harus saling mengasihi. -- Yoh 13: 34.
• A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. -- John 13: 34.
