COFFEE: Am i a Coffee Lover?

All this while, i love to drink coffee from a kopitiam and as you know, most of them use Robusta bean. My favourite drink is coffee milk. The sweetness from the sweetened condensed milk cover the real taste of the coffee. Thus, i assumed for all these years i was addicted to the sugar from my coffee milk. When i traveled to the US in 2019 and Spain in 2020, i have no choice and to take Arabica coffee with no sugar. Sometime i add a bit of cream milk because it was too strong for me. Then, i discover that i actually taste the real coffee because no sugar added, similar with when i drink my green tea without sugar. With this discover, now i understand why most of my friends from abroad (US, Spain, UK), did not really like our coffee here and went for an expensive coffee cafe such as Starbucks. Not to mentioned our 3 in 1 or powder coffee which we always bought for our fieldwork in the jungle.
In conclusion, i no longer living in seclusion and denial about the amazing taste of the real coffee bean. At present, my preference is Arabica bean from Brazil. I just love the sweet and smooth taste. They said it is low acidity and perhaps, it is true. Let's enjoy our coffee then! Cheers!
